Recently, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation donated a batch of surgical masks to the students of our college trained for the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Zhao Dianlong, the president of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and Chen Sichang, the general manager always cared about 34 students studying in the school for the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway, paid attention to their lives and studies and cared and comforted them by various channels. Recently, the domestic headquarters of the group sent a batch of surgical masks to the students by express delivery. In the meantime, the group expressed heartfelt thanks for the meticulous care of our college to the students during the period of epidemic prevention and control.
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation is the former China-aid office of the Ministry of Railways and organized one of the largest China-aid projects in China in the 1960s – the Tazara Railway and participated in the construction of the first transnational electrified railway in East Africa – the Addis Ababa-Djibouti Railway.
