On October 31, the first batch of 22 South African students in our college completed the 6-month internship in the Zhengzhou passenger vehicle branch of Shanghai Automotive Group Co., Ltd., officially saying goodbye to the internship. The company leaders and workshop heads jointly performed a seeing-off ceremony for the interns. The relevant department heads of the school were invited to participate in the activity.
In the seeing-off ceremony, the leaders of the Zhengzhou branch summarized the 6-month internship of every student, affirmed the enthusiastic, hardworking and down-to-earth attitudes of the students and hoped the students to apply their knowledge, bring the advanced production technology and international operation concept of Shanghai Automotive Group Co., Ltd. to their hometown, become the leaders of the industry and the pillars of the state and promote the friendship between China and Africa. Jin Bingying, the vice dean of the College of Electromechanical Engineering sincerely appreciated the care and guidance of the company leaders to the students and the “hand-holding” mentoring of the workshop seniors for the 6 months on behalf of the school. They hoped to deepen the cooperation and consensus and realized the win-win benefit with Shanghai Automotive Group Co., Ltd.
The internship is an external internship activity conducted by our college with the relevant enterprise for the first time since the international cooperation in education, and is of significance for exploring the cultivation mode of the international students and improving the international school-running level of the school.
