In order to thoroughly implement the “National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan,” implement the documentation requirements for high-level vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics and specialty construction plan, solve specific problems in the training of high-quality technical talents and the construction of “1+X” certificate system in higher vocational colleges, give full play to the promoting role of Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges and international cooperation in the cultivating and training of talents in the rail transit industry and serve Chinese rail transit industries and enterprises and relevant higher vocational colleges to participate in the construction of “the Belt and Road,” the Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Rail Transit Industry decided to cooperate with the British National Skills Academy for Rail to provide training services for higher vocational colleges and rail transit industries and enterprises across the country.The specific matters are announced as follows.
The Institute of International People-to-People Exchange for Rail Transit Industry was established in 2020 with the approval of the International People-to-People Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education, and the workplace is located in Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College. In January 2021, a training agreement was reached with the British National Skills Academy for Rail; the two parties will focus on talent cultivation as the main line, serving the industry as the goal, international resources as the lever and mechanism innovation as the basis to carry out the training services of “framework system and vocational qualification standard for railway personnel”.
The British National Skills Academy for Rail is the leading institution for human resource management and talent training in the British railway industry, and it is responsible for coordinating with the government to conduct“policy interpretation, standard setting, certificate issuance, and industry guidance,” aiming to enable the railway sector to provide modern, efficient, world-class services by developing a highly skilled and productive workforce.
