On November 23rd, Ms. Zhao from Railway 717 District expressed her sincere gratitude to ZZRVTC's international students for their heroic actions in rescuing a fainting elderly man. As a gesture of appreciation, Ms. Zhao sent a silk banner to the school. The banner was inscribed with Brave Youth with Great Boundless Love, acknowledging the students' rescue efforts and the institution's nurturing environment.
On November 8th, an 80-year-old man suddenly collapsed in front of the Construction Bank in Xinyuan Modern City due to health issues. ZZRVTC's international students from Tajikistan, Nazarzoda Mehrbakhsh (Chinese name: Maiha) and Zokirov Muhammadjon (Chinese name: Zhong Yong), happened to be passing by. After realizing the emergency, they rushed to the old man without hesitation and started to give him emergency aid. The unconscious old man was experiencing cardiac arrest, presenting a critical condition. The students immediately administered CPR and called for an ambulance. Through their swift and coordinated efforts, the old man regained consciousness, and his vital signs stabilized. Upon the ambulance's arrival, the students assisted in moving the elderly man into the ambulance, quietly departing once they learned he was out of danger.
After the incident, Ms. Zhao, the daughter of the elderly man, sought information about the international students. Upon discovering they were from ZZRVTC, she visited the campus multiple times to express her gratitude. Ms. Zhao acknowledged that the students' courageous actions saved her family, extending heartfelt thanks for their assistance and the school's educational values.
In response to the old man’s family’s gratitude, Maiha and Zhong Yong humbly stated that they simply did what was expected of them. Having experienced warmth and support from Chinese people since arriving in China, they view helping others as a way to reciprocate kindness. They consider it an honor to contribute to the well-being of Chinese society and aspire to spread love globally. Additionally, they expressed hopes for the elderly man's quick recovery.
Maiha and Zhong Yong, international students from the class of 2023, have always exhibited good and polite manners, modesty, and a willingness to assist their classmates since joining ZZRVTC. Both their teachers and classmates hold them in high regard. Their rescue efforts align with the spirit of ZZRVTC's motto, emphasizing virtue, ability, and unity of knowledge and action, showcasing the students' moral character, responsibility, courage, and generosity in providing help.
